The City of Grayson Police Department was established in 1838 to provide protection to the citizens of the city. Today, the Grayson Police Department has 10 full-time sworn Police Officers assigned to different duties within the agency. The Grayson Police Department services approximately 3500 citizens and covers approximately 25 square miles.

The Officers of the Grayson Police Department are empowered to fairly and diligently enforce all laws bringing to justice those who violate them. We will strive to improve the quality of life by reducing crime and the fear of crime through a dedicated partnership with the community and endeavor to offer uncompromising personalized service to our customers.
